What it is

Binago is a SaaS platform for apartment buildings and housing sites, built for property offices, management companies and developers in Northern Cyprus and Türkiye whose sites mix local and foreign owners. It ships as a web panel for managers, an iOS/Android app for residents and managers, an operator console for the company running the service, and a marketing site. It is pre-launch.

What it does

  • Buildings, units and people: multiple buildings per manager, owners and tenants per unit, role-based access.
  • Dues and debt ledger: automatic monthly accrual, dues notices, autopay, an immutable ledger in TRY, GBP and USD with daily exchange rates.
  • Wallet and payments: online card payments through iyzico, top-ups, and receipt-based payment claims.
  • Building finance: expenses, income, accounts, opening balances and attachments.
  • Communication: announcements with read tracking, tickets for requests and faults, notifications by push, email, SMS and WhatsApp.
  • Operations: vehicles, inventory, maintenance schedules and logs, KVKK consents.
  • SaaS side: customers, contracts, invoices and plan-based feature gating; white-label apps for management companies; TR, EN and RU throughout.

My role

I work on Binago purely as its product manager. I own the product from problem definition to launch plan: scope and roadmap, user flows and screen specs that the team builds from, data model and integration decisions (payments, messaging, multi-currency), pricing and positioning, store listings, and the marketing plan. The engineering is done by the team; I keep it unblocked and reviewed.

How it's built

TypeScript monorepo (pnpm, Turborepo). API on Fastify 5 with Zod, PostgreSQL 17 via Prisma 7, JWT sessions with refresh rotation, passkeys and TOTP for admins, WebSocket realtime. Web in React 19, Vite and Tailwind; mobile in Expo / React Native with push notifications. Deployed with Docker on a single VPS via Coolify, with CI on GitHub Actions.

Status

In development, pre-launch: payments, store release and a public launch are next.
